Nest Adds Seasoned Entrepreneur as Chairman to Support New Growth
Nest today announced the appointment of Peter Brack as Executive Chairman. Peter Brack will support operational execution and strategy across the business.
Prior to this new appointment, Peter Brack has been intimately involved with Nest as an independent director for over 4 years. Based in Asia for over 20 years, his career to date has spanned an impressive track record, both as an operator and investor. He was the co-founder and CEO of two companies, both of which went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Peter Brack is also a seasoned venture investor, and is a venture partner at Mucker Capital in Los Angeles.
“Nest’s mission has always been to discover some of the world’s most talented entrepreneurs, to give them the tools and resources to help them realise their dreams, and to develop thriving ecosystems across the markets where we operate. I'm excited to join the team at this stage in Nest’s journey where the business is poised for significant growth - and we have the opportunity to reach many more entrepreneurs as we scale,” Peter Brack said.
Nest CEO Lawrence Morgan said, “We are honoured to have someone of Peter’s calibre join the operational team as Executive Chairman. I’ve personally been hugely grateful for the wise counsel that Peter has provided over the years, and believe it will be transformational for the whole team at Nest to leverage his prior experience as we scale to new markets in the future.”
